Empathy is an old value that is being discussed a lot today by authors like Daniel Pink (A Whole New Mind, 2005), Warren Bennis, Daniel Goleman and James O'Toole (Transparency: How Leaders Create a Culture of Candor, 2008) to name a few.

Learning styles and empathy are directly related. Being aware of learning differences makes it easier to design instruction for all learners. We hope this instruction on learning styles will give you insights into your own learning style and tools to make your instructional design more inclusive.
